HUZZAH!

Another episode of MY favorite podcast! Here's the goods from the Podbean post for Waiting for Doom Episode #94, by my Doom Bros, Mike and Paul

Clean-freaks, identity addiction, and hints of a brewing generational war! All this plus a trip to Amsterdam! WHEE! LET'S GET PATROLLING!
Down on Derington Way - 6:06Doom Clock - 7:36Doomsplaining - 12:20 - We continue to explore the weirdness happening in Violet Valley as we cover issues 68 and 69 from volume 2 of the Doom Patrol, by Rachel Polack and Linda Medley!Mailbag O Doom - 44:30 - We read your responses to the question, "Who is your favourite fictional cop?"

So, let's get to those images.

Tom Taggart's cover for Doom Patrol (v2) #68

That's one way to get it clean. . .

The Endless Cadillac. Been there.

Get Ready And Now Talk.

SKAABAMM!

Just another Wednesday for the Doom Patrol.

That's a lot of red.

And here's the visuals from Doom Patrol #69.

Tom Taggart bringing the goods.

Victory to the Fox!

Of course.

That jacket.

Looks like weirdness for weirdness' sake to me.

Down on Derington Way
The guys mentioned the Mister Miracle cover that Nick Derington drew. That was in the previous post (go ahead, click, but come back), so I suppose y'all want more?

Well, never let it be said that Nick Derington disappoints, because he sure as heck does not disappoint. Here's some more Scott Free for ya:

And some extra bits.

Derington's a GREAT Twitter follow, as his creativity doesn't stop with pencil and paper. Give him a looksee

Question of the Week

What is your fave Justice League story? Because, y'know, it's JLMay.

Anyone. . .?

MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! Or Happy Spacemas! Or Magnifcient New Podcast Episode Day! Ok, well, it's a little after the actual new podcast episode day, but the point is the same: there's more Waiting for Doom episodes in the world today!

HUZZAH!

Here's the lowdown on Episode 93. Check it out:

Dryballs! (But whose??) Porkals! (Not a typo) Lost minds and loose heads! (Literally) Endings and beginnings! (Yup) Sexy ghosts! (OH MY!) Trolleys full of poo! (What?!) Paul has questions and Mike may be a prevert! (Day ending in 'y', really). Here's the goods from Doom Patrol (volume 2) #66, starting with the Richard Case cover.
Case covers the book containing his final interiors.

The creators for this issue:

And the interiors.
Cliff punching stuff and people. All is well.

Niles Caulder is NOT makin' friends with Will Magnus.

Weirdness.

Oddly, this never caught on in the arcades.

Dorothy's in charge now, Caulder. Dorothy's in charge.

Niles hates being touched on the top of his head. HATES. IT.

How about some images from Doom Patrol (v2) #67?

Another strong, weird (weird, strong?) cover.

The credits for DP(v2) #67
Dorothy makin' friends.

Cliff's not so good at makin' friends.

We've ALL had days like this.

"Remaindered". Man, I hate math.

Like Cliff, I am not a fan of Costco on Saturdays.
Even when he's just a head, the Chief is still a dick.

Derington by Way of Bonvillain
Here's a bit from Gerard Way from 21 April.

And a couple sketches from Derington's Twitter.

Mr. Fantastic from 21 April.

Batman from 4 May. Because May the Fourth be. . .Batman?!
Super-extra-bonus, because I slacked so badly in finishing this post:

And, FINALLY!
Here's a bit about Tamra Bonvillain. She was featured in the Who's Who for Young Animal in BUG! The Adventures of Forager #1 (which is a wacky fun Kirbytastic read!)

Question of the Week
Who is your favorite fictional cop (police officer)?

Episode 92: Holy [CENSORED] I’m Alive! OR All Love Soft Home!

Huzzah! Paul's back and ready to dive into a discussion of Doom Patrol (volume 6) #6!!

Let's see what the guys had to say about the episode up on Podbean.
After a bit of a hiatus, your favourite podcast about your favourite superhero team is BACK! It's like a zero-cholesterol, no-trans-fat, gluten-free, hypo-allergenic, vegan all natural food additive - for your ears! LET'S GET PATROLLING!Down on Derington Way - 12:30Doom Clock - 18:46Byrne For You - 22:00Doomsplaining - 26:20 - It's time for an ALL NEW ISSUE of Doom Patrol - HUZZAH! This week we take a look at the conclusion to the first arc of volume 6, with issue 6 by Gerard Way and Nick Derington!Mailbag O Doom - 55:07 - We read your responses to the question, "Which DC villain / villainous team would you like to see the Doom Patrol face?"
Here's the covers:
Samplerman

Derington
So what are we waiting for?! Let's take a look at those delicious interiors!
"MOM? DAD?"

Weirdest death. . .

All. The. Colors. And Doodlebug.

It all comes full circle to Doom Patrol (v6) #1.

Maybe.

VWOP   ZWOK

Derington makes the panel border interactive. LOVE this stuff.

Might just be me, but it sure looks like the brick is coming OUT of Jane's noggin.

Paul's favorite panel.

So good at being bad. Terry None has some grand plans.
And now for a bit from Derington by Way of Bonvillain.

Nick Derington made a Fugg. Want.

The poster that comes with the Record Store Day picture disc.

Back row: Jonathan Rivera, Nick Derington
Front row: Jody Houser, Cecil Castellucci, Gerard Way

And, just in case you were feeling a bit incomplete, here's my review of the issue from Comicosity, in which I say:
There’s also beautiful, candy-dream color work from Bonvillain, who uses more pink and light purple than should be reasonable in a comic titled Doom Patrol, even if there is a crash-landing in New Mexico and explosions in space.

And, finally, the Question of the Week: Which comic book character would you most want to have a ride along with?
